Defibrillator
A defibrillator has been acquired for the benefit of the parish and is readily accessible from the yellow defibrillator box located at the Royal Oak public house. This is checked by the Wetton and Alstonefield Community First Responders. The parish council funds consumables for the defibrillator.
Wetton Village Hall
Wetton Village Hall does not belong to Wetton and Back of Ecton Parish Council and is managed and controlled by a separate management committee.
Bookings for Wetton Village Hall must be made directly with Wetton Village Hall bookings’ secretary. Contact details for the village hall can be found on the village hall noticeboard.
Wetton Playground and Playing Field
The playground equipment and playing field are controlled by the parish council. The playground equipment is inspected by ROSPA Play Safety on an annual basis. There is no playground or playing field at Back of Ecton.
Lengthman
The parish pays for the services of a lengthsman to maintain the parish in a neat and tidy state.
Community Newsletter
Periodically, Wetton and Back of Ecton Parish Council place information articles on the Community Newsletter circulated to local residents.
